Today Coco and I went to the beach on Naxos, Greece’s largest island. Agios Georgios Beach in fact and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We rented an umbrella and two chairs 
for 10€ which gave us a prime spot with table service. We started off ordering a couple of beers and were pleased when they were delivered in an ice pale which was left at the table.
Good news on a hot day like this. Along with the drink order came a WiFi . password. Top marks for this location. A very long beach with textbook golden sand and clear blue/green water. The water is warm and fun with perfect waves washing over you coaxing you to try your hand at body surfing. I wasn’t up for it as I was having a lot of fun splashing around with Coco.
called the labyrinth and the name was perfect. We walked through a maze and were rewarded for it. Where to eat in Naxos… well the restaurants in this area are amazing. They don’t have the “ocean-view” but you can have the ocean view any time! They simply put their tables out onto the road or into small squares then set up for the night. The photo is where we ate and is a perfect example of this. The food is remarkable and not to be missed. We ate at “Vassilis” which has a well deserved top rating on Trip Advisor.
